The library is offering two arts and crafts workshops for children led by Mrs. Jill Appleman, a professional art teacher for over 25 years.

            The first workshop will be held on Monday, August 11, from about 2-3 pm for children ages 5-7.  They will be making 3-D turtles which will be painted.  The second workshop is for children 8-11 years old and will be held the following day, Tuesday, August 11, also beginning at 2 pm.  The children may need 1 ½ (until 3:30) to complete the paper mache mask project.

            The cost per child is $5 and registration is limited to only 12 students.  Parents should register and pay at the library as soon as possible to reserve a spot for their children.  Children are encouraged to come in old clothes to avoid getting good clothes messed up with paint!
