Donald Mattson, President and Treasurer, has been a member of the Board since 1991 and has served until September 2007 principally as the Board’s Treasurer. Don retired as VP and Chief Accounting Officer for Consolidated Rail Corporation.
Don has been a resident of Whitemarsh Township since 1977 where he and his wife have raised and educated 4 children. He has served our community in a number of positions, including 8 years on the Board of the Colonial School District, his last 2 years as President. He serves as a board member and treasurer of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School Scholarship Committee. He also serves as a volunteer providing part-time accounting work for both the Highlands Historical Society, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation, restoration and historical interpretation of an historic mansion and grounds dating from 1794 and for the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, NJ.
Don is a graduate of Lehigh University and received his B.S. in 1964 and holds an Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard University, 1991. Don also maintains a CPA designation. He resides in Whitemarsh Township with his wife, Cheryl
