Writing Workshop for Teens
Express yourself by keeping a journal. Join Robyn Train, a reading, writing & art enthusiast, for 1 ½ hours each week for an exploration of your creative abilities. If you are entering 6th through 12th grade and are interested in writing creative non-fiction, poetry, fiction or in combining your artistic, graphic and writing skills toward creating a personal journal which expresses your individuality, join us on Monday afternoons from 4 pm to 5:30 pm for 7 weeks from July 7 through August 18. We will write and draw in our journals each week, using prompts to kick-start the imagination. Each session will include an art project and private journal writing time as well as time to write or draw something specifically to share with the group.
Bring your own journal or notebook, other supplies will be provided. Register at the Circulation Desk or call or email Robyn Train at rtrain@mclinc.org or 610-828-0441.
