We will be reading a number of poets, stemming from a list of suggestions from group member Kiki Kuzovich. They are Mark Strand, Billy Collins, Robert Pinsky, William Carlos Williams, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Click here for the poems.
We meet at 6:30 pm for about 1 1/2 hours, no more than once a month. The meeting will focus on reading aloud and discussing the poem(s) of the month. If you want to think about the poem or do some research before the meeting, you are encouraged to do so, but participants are also welcome who come to the meeting without doing any advanced preparation.
