Friends Annual Program - DATE CHANGE

Thursday, March 18, at 7:00 PM, the Friends of the William Jeanes Library (our auxiliary/support organization) will hold its Annual Meeting at the Whitemarsh Township Building's Meeting Room. This year, local historian (and Library Board member) David Contosta will deliver the keynote. Mr. Contosta will draw upon his research in presenting a talk on the role of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in enhancing Philadelphia's Wissahickon Park. Free refreshments. The public is welcome.

Mr. B’s Book Club

Sunday, March 28, 3-4:30pm.  Mr. B” (David Beckman) is returning to Jeanes Library to conduct his famous book clubs!

WiFi at the Jeanes

During regular Library hours, patrons can access the Internet through our free WiFi service. Bring your laptop and find a comfortable spot for tackling that homework assignment, writing a short story, or just checking email. Blackberries and iPhones welcome, as well. Just keep them muted while your fingertips tap away.
